Celebrate National Nurses Week May 6-12
National Nurses Week, May 6-12, exists to honor nurses for the work they do, as well as educate the public about nursing’s vital role in health care. We join the American Nurses Association (ANA) in celebrating nurses’ commitment to protecting, promoting and improving health care for all.
With the theme “Nurses: Inspire, Innovate, Influence,” this year’s National Nurses Week features a variety of recognition programs and events throughout the United States. Since 1990, state and district nurse associations, specialty nursing and educational organizations, and health care companies have dedicated May 6-12 to celebrating the contributions of nurses in their communities. Visit the ANA website to learn more about National Nurses Week and how you can take part.
As workers’ compensation specialists in the health care industry, we recognize the challenges and demands of the nursing field and salute nurses’ tireless service, energy and compassion. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with health care organizations to keep nurses and other health care professionals safe on the job.
