Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Names United Heartland Top Workplace
United Heartland, a leading national workers’ compensation insurance company, was named to the list of best places to work in southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in their sixth annual Top Workplaces survey. United Heartland was selected in the Midsize Workplaces category.
The Journal Sentinel’s partner, WorkplaceDynamics, invited 1,327 employers in southeastern Wisconsin to participate this year, and surveyed 250 companies and more than 67,000 employees. Employers and employees were surveyed, and employees were asked a variety of questions about the company, their manager and their job.
The Top Workplaces list includes 25 large companies with 500 or more employees, 50 midsize companies with 150 to 499 employees and 75 small companies of 50 to 149 employees.
“We are honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Steve Cooper, president of United Heartland. “We care deeply about our employees, customers, and agents and this care is evident in all that we do. Service is our highest priority and a top work environment helps our employees provide first-in-class service. Through our high-touch service model, our knowledgeable employees enable us to distinguish ourselves by delivering on the promises we make, resulting in scores of satisfied customers and agents.”
